Hey there I’m Dr. B —
chiropractor, yarn-hoarder,
and very mediocre gardener.
I drink my coffee iced and think a good laugh can fix anything (well, almost). My days are spent helping people feel like themselves again — I take my work seriously, but I don’t take myself too seriously.
Some Details About Me:
I’ve always been fascinated by how people move. Dance and soccer were a huge part of my life growing up in Rhode Island, and they showed me early on how connected everything is — strength, balance, recovery, resilience. I didn’t see bodies as problems to solve. I saw them as dynamic and adaptable. Helping people move easier, feel better, and live with less tension is what gets me out of bed in the morning — and it’s why Evergreen exists.
My Training + Experience
I studied Health Fitness at East Carolina University before earning my Doctorate at Sherman College of Chiropractic. During school, I served as a Patient Education Intern — because explaining why things matter is kind of my thing.
Since 2017, I’ve been in clinical practice, and that experience informs every recommendation I make. I approach each body with curiosity, care, and a commitment to help you understand not just what we’re doing, but why it matters for your life.
How I Practice
Evergreen Family Chiropractic is built around the belief that care should be:
Thoughtful — not rushed
Personalized — tailored to your body
Collaborative — explained in real terms
Supportive of real life — not cookie-cutter
I use a broad range of techniques: including Webster for prenatal care, Pediatric SOT®, Activator Methods®, Thompson Drop, Diversified, and Graston Technique® for soft tissue — because no two bodies (or families) are the same.
TL;DR — Local girl. Big toolbox, gentle hands, and experience to know what works.
A Little About Me (Off the Clock)
When I’m not helping families in the office, you’ll usually find me with mine, cheering on Rhode Island FC, tending a garden that mostly survives on hope, or knitting and crocheting to keep both my hands and brain busy. Life is messy and chaotic, but I show up for it fully.
So no matter what brings you in, know this:
You deserve to feel good again — and I’d love to help you get there.
I can’t wait to welcome you into the Evergreen family!
