You go to roll over.

Maybe it’s your hips. Maybe it’s your pelvis. Maybe it feels like your low back is locking up. Maybe it’s a sharp pain that makes you stop halfway through the turn and rethink all your life choices.
And somehow, something as simple as rolling over in bed becomes one of the hardest parts of your day.

Your ligaments become more flexible.
Everything is adjusting.
Even if you feel like you’re “doing fine,” your body is constantly making tiny compensations to keep you upright, balanced, and moving.
Most of the time, you don’t notice those changes during the day.
But at night?
When your body gets still?

Sometimes It’s Not Your Belly. It’s Your Pelvis.
One of the biggest reasons rolling over hurts during pregnancy is pelvic tension or instability.
Your pelvis is meant to move.
But it’s also meant to feel stable.
During pregnancy, hormones (especially relaxin) help your ligaments become more flexible. That’s helpful for birth.

more pillows
different pillow arrangements
sleeping on the other side
